Get to know more about me

Hello! I’m Aron,

Being someone that works in film and TV, and has lived and worked around the world, I generally find that images and perceptions of people of color, particularly Black People are often portrayed much less positively than negative.

Think about it for a second, how do feel black people are often portrayed in film, TV, and music? Ok, yes, sometimes it can be a alittle self-inflicted like in some music but how about in the other mediums and industries like film or even in school curriculums today? Gang culture, and though crucial, it’s the same educational stories on slavery and the fight for civil rights. Is all we do and have done since the beginning of time just been a fight for freedom and equality?

I firmly understand the power of words, stories, imagery, and the impact they can have on our lives so I created this space as a source of inspiration, education, motivation, and some entertainment to share the good news of current world events, popular and rarely told black history of all forms (note: it cannot always be positive as we aim to only share truth), tips and reviews as well as my own travel and film journey (I have big plans so watch this space) as well as many other things.

I hope you will join the journey and find something on here that can at least inspire you no matter what background you’re from, to chase your dreams and live your truth.

A Gala is a celebration so remember to celebrate you.

“You are your best thing.”
